You are getting an update explaining chapter 10 of Revelation. Specifically the meaning of the 7 Thunders. The information is FREE and its full content is listed below. No need for you to pay!!! (Unless you want to) The book "Donkey Speaks Again" is sold separately, and contains highly detailed information on how to interpret Revelation the way God intended. That means it is interpreted by using the Bible to explain the multitude of metaphors used throughout Revelation and all prophetic passages. The book aligns perfectly with the information given here and will greatly astound you how everything can be explained in concise unison with all prophetic passages aligning perfectly with each other without any contradictions. If you like what you read here, you will be greatly blessed by the book. P.S... look for future listings explaining popular prophecy related searches. I will begin them with the phrase "FREE Donkey..." (Available now... 1) 666 "the mark", & 2) Daniels 70th week) A summary of the meaning and interpretation of the 7 thunders of Revelation 10: A supplement to “The Donkey Speaks Again” by John Hohl Chapter 10 speaks of a mystery within a mystery concerning “7 thunders”. My earlier book titled “The Donkey Speaks Again” has an outline of Revelation which was created by using the Bible itself to interpret the metaphors and descriptions used within all prophetic writings, especially Revelation. It remains as the ONLY prophecy outline with NO Biblical contradictions. The meaning of the 7 thunders did not come to me until about 4 or 5 years later, so the book has almost no explanations concerning those 7 thunders. That puts it on par with ALL other prophecy related books written on the subject because they will ALL pass over the section with little or no comment. The meaning also stunned me because it aligned perfectly with, and re-proved, that outline created years earlier. While the book does need a “re-write”, the basic outline is very solid and so instead of re-writing an entire book, I decided to simply offer the chapter 10 new findings in this way all the while promoting the “donkey” book to anyone who wishes to dig really deep into understanding prophecy and solidifying their theology and understanding of the entire Bible. As we progress here, I will inject thoughts that highlight the many errors in other outlines, but, do not have the space to address the full scope of the errors and all the ways in which those errors become magnified the more you attempt to overlap them onto the other parts of prophecy laid out for us in Revelation. The "contradictions" will become blatantly obvious the more you dig into the small details provided within the prophecy itself. More on that later... As I am able to add more "FREE Donkey" listings. But, with the correct outline in hand (and in your mind), you will gain a mastery of understanding metaphors and meanings of nearly all the strange words and phrases used not only in prophecy but in all Scripture, especially the spoken (red letter) words of Jesus which are nearly all metaphors. Revelation chapter 10 also tells us that John will be required to write “again” about many peoples and nations but this book has yet to be written. I will say here that many will claim this refers to the other chapters of Revelation and not a separate book altogether. They make it sound reasonable, but, with the “tribulation events” including the 2nd coming completed in the next 7 or 8 chapters, one must then ask, “what about the 1000 year reign afterward?” Revelation does not cover it in any great detail. Not one single prophecy book focuses on the 1000 year reign, it does not exist (YET). If you say "there is NO 1000 year reign after His return", then you will encounter great contradictions which, again, I cannot cover with any great detail here. But, know this... the Greek word thousand comes in two forms. Both singular and plural! Whenever the phrase or term "1000 year reign" (or equivalent) is used, the "SINGULAR" form is used. And whenever multiple thousands of anything is mentioned, then the plural form is used. Again, too much information for now, but, just a taste of how the book will be continuous "AHAH" moments on nearly every page. The Bible spans thousands of years of history that is centered on the Jewish people and the nation of Israel, but with the advent of the NT, it also holds separate promises under a new covenant for believers and followers of Jesus without ever concluding that God will NOT fulfill His promises to the Jews, or that He is "done with them". Their "blindness" is even said to be temporary so that the whole world may be saved. Revelation, as the ONLY prophecy book written describing the so called “Church Age” or past 2000 year gap in the “Jewish timeline, has stumped all who have tried to understand it. Yet, there are special blessings offered to anyone who studies it and even a curse to anyone who changes its words. To understand it correctly, you must understand that there are two covenants with God still in effect during this “Church Age”. Christians understand the idea of faith in Jesus and the end of the "Jewish" system, or should I say the proper and intended continuation of it. However, because of prophecy and history we should know that God has not abandoned the Jews or the nation of Israel. There are prophecies and promises given to the Jews that do NOT include Christians and vice-versa. How we interpret prophecy concerning the first and second comings is VERY crucial to correct theology. Hopefully you ALL agree! How we look at the 2nd coming must be updated and the errors which have been propagated for centuries must be corrected lest we fall prey to the same fate as the first century Jews who stared directly at their Messiah and rejected Him for their OWN BELIEFS and DOCTRINES! Modern believers are in danger of the same thing, and parts of Revelation and the NT actually proclaim it. Most scholars and preachers will say that prophecy is secondary to theology, but you must understand that your theology is founded or based on how you interpret prophecy. Conversely, we cannot expect are limited understanding of God to be hardened to a point where prophecy (like the prophets of old) is now determined by our man-made ideas. Changing your interpretation of prophecy will have profound effects on how you understand the entire Bible. That is also why prophecy is not really taught much, if at all, lest the people begin to think logically and question their leaders who are not able to answer because their understanding is only partially true at best. I hear it all the time, “the OT Jews where 'saved by faith' just like we are today”. Yet, they (the Jewish leaders) misinterpreted prophetic passages speaking about their Messiah and refused to believe their own Scriptures. Would it shock you if I told you that the most common prophecy interpretations taught in churches are proclaiming and teaching that some prophetic passages concerning the Messiah Jesus are all about the Anti-Christ? All of this must seem very confusing, but don't worry. With the correct outline (The Donkey Speaks Again) and correct definitions of words and phrases used throughout prophecy and other Scriptures, you too will be able to read Bible passages with real understanding of what those metaphors are and what timeframe on the outline they are talking about. You will actually have a better understanding of prophecy than your church leaders. Yes, that is very scary on so many levels, but know this... your leaders will not accept changes in how they interpret prophecy no matter how much they claim to be of the "Berean" mindset, nor how much logic and evidence you present. They reject the idea of prophecy being the foundation of theology and yet they will not change their views which are now engraved in stone like the 10 commandments. Why? The Bible reveals God's plans and all the times in which He intervenes with mankind. The big one, of course, is when Jesus arrives and is crucified but is also resurrected and is now in heaven. Another, of course, will be when Jesus returns! Remember, God will never act without first telling His people (Jew nor Christian) what it is He will be doing. Revelation is given to Christians and is about to reach the end of 2000 years of history. The Greek word “Bronte” (Thunder = Strong's 1027) used in Revelation chapter 10 which speaks of 7 "Bronte's" (or Thunders) which John hears as spoken words but God also told John NOT to write down what he heard. How annoying is that to have God tell you (us) 'here is something important' and then also tell you that He will not tell you (us) what it is? As if, He is saying “oops, my mistake, I gave John too much info there... oh well, I'll just tell him “not to write down what he heard”... yeah, that should fix it”. But... of course, John still had to go ahead and write down that he heard something - was that being disobedient? Of course not! So, God messed up uhhh? NO! This part of Revelation may be one of the least mentioned or preached on parts of the entire book, but as it turns out may be viewed as the most important part if you want to understand it all in the proper context. God placed this information there for a reason, if for nothing else than to force us to study the entire book very intently. The word “Bronte” (translated into English as the word "thunder" or some derivation of it) is actually quite rare in the NT, despite there being many occurrences of the word “thunder” in English. So, this word must have a special meaning. We know that there were 7 "Bronte's", shall I say, commands or special interactions of God with man that are very important parts of prophecy as mentioned in chapter 10. Don't you think these moments will be something very special requiring God's creation voice to produce? They won't be in connection with anything or anyone apart from or outside of Jesus. Are you aware that this word is ONLY used 7 times in Revelation outside of chapter 10? So, the 7 "thunders" are attached to very specific moments or events which are depicted or described within the visions laid out in Revelation. Would it intrigue you to know that each time it is used, it is in connection with a MAJOR event on the outline in which God intervenes on earth in some sort of supernatural way through Jesus? Before we continue, can you think of possible events that would require God's direct interaction or involvement? Try stopping now and create your own or add/subtract from the following.... Jesus rising from the grave, The Holy Spirit being given to believers, The destruction of the temple, The dispersion of the Jewish people, The rapture, The resurrection of the tribulation saints, Jesus returning with the angels of heaven to rule and reign on earth, The marking of the 144K, The resurrection of the two witnesses, Satan being bound in the pit, The judgments of the false church and the Beast & false prophet, and The final judgment of Satan at the end of the 1000 years. Did I miss something you may include? Do you think any of these don't really belong or are not "special" enough to warrant a "Bronte"? First, allow me to prove that this is something far more important than actual thunder in the sky by looking at the verses in which the word “bronte” occurs. But first, look at Old Testament uses of a similar Hebrew word... 1Sam 2:10, 7:10... In the OT, the word is “ra 'am” (Strong's 7481). 1Sam. Uses it along with many other verses concerning God's strength. In verse 10, it is clearly a judgment statement against anyone who would stand against Him. 7:10 recounts a time when Samuel was performing a sacrifice unto God, but the Philistines tried to attack at that moment... God confused the Philistines by “thundering a loud thunder” upon them to confuse them. Not just a thunder clap but God's voice! 2Sam 22:14 & Ps. 18:13... “The Lord thundered from heaven, and... uttered His voice” Ps. 29:3-9...The “voice of the Lord” and includes the “thunder” word as part of it. Job 37:4-5... He “thunders with His voice” a phrase repeated over and over in connection with “doing great things which we cannot comprehend”. Job 40:9... “Have you an arm like God? Or can you thunder with a voice like His?” Should be clear that God's voice is portrayed as “thunder”. Even the first century Jews would have this understanding and association, as we will now see. In the New Testament, the word “Bronte” (Strong's 1027) is used rather sparingly. Here are the only two times its used outside of Revelation. Mk 3:17... James and John the brothers and sons of Zebedee are given the name “sons of thunder (Bronte)” by Jesus. Speaking God's authoritative truth... not merely loud talking. Jn 12:28-29... Jesus is preaching about one week prior to the cross and exclaims “Father, glorify Your name”. Then God's voice was heard by the crowd who proclaimed that it sounded like thunder (Bronte). Now for the 7 (and only 7 times) that the word “Bronte” is used in Revelation OUTSIDE of chapter 10. (1) Rev 4:5... After the introductions and visions of the 7 churches in chapters 2&3, John is shown the throne room in heaven. He sees the 24 elders, the sea of crystal, the four living creatures, and the 7 lamps or spirits of God, and the freshly slain lamb Christ with a single crown (important because at this time, Jesus is only deemed 'worthy to receive' many accolades in addition to the ones He has here... they are added a few at a time as different milestones are reached through Revelation - if you look at the details provided) and holding a two-sided scroll with 7 seals. At the start of this vision, John also sees and hears lightning, thunder – (Bronte - God's creation voice), and voices emitting from the throne. Despite popular opinion, this does NOT represent the rapture. It refers to the time when Jesus is seated on the throne in heaven after His resurrection. The minute details prove this and are outlined in the book (The Donkey Speaks Again). So, Jesus is sitting on the throne, all the Christians are “represented” by the candlesticks (not actually there), and the 4 Spirits of the first 4 seals of the scroll are in heaven. They are also spoken of in the OT and will be released individually and in separate directions. So, to recap, chapter one was an introduction and chapters 2&3 are focused on Christian believers during the Church Age and are also represented by the candlesticks and messengers seen in the throne room. While there is a sort of chronological sequence in Revelation, you must understand that many of these visions will overlap. Now, in chapter 4, the "door to heaven is opened" and Jesus is about to open the first seal of a scroll which is written on BOTH sides. The scroll represents the "Church Age" which is not exclusive to Christians alone and the details will prove the door is "opened" at the start of this age and is CLOSED at the end of it. The seals being released will be shown to represent the release of the four spirits with the first four seals, then the last three will focus on the time of the rapture and tribulation period. Similarly the 7 letters to the churches in chapters 2&3 will be shown to cover this same time frame as a summary glimpse into the "evolution" of the Christian believers with the last two representing those "raptured" and those left behind. Rapture verses suggest the door being closed and remaining closed throughout the tribulation period. (2) Rev 6:1... The 2nd “Bronte” introduces the White horse in connection with the first seal of the scroll being loosed. This account actually represents the release of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and the start of the Church Age, NOT the end of it as far too many scholars will say. Again, the many details outlined in the book will prove what I am saying. Thus the 2nd thunder is God, once again, doing something supernatural in the world through and with Jesus. Alternately, The scholars and experts will tell you that this refers to the Anti-Christ coming to earth “in peace”, but viewing it that way will lead to many contradictions with other passages and I show how Satan is not cast down to earth until after the trumpets begin sounding, thus allowing for the rapture and a war in heaven before the casting out along with 1/3 of the angels as well. So far, we have seen two BIG events requiring God's hand in order to accomplish represented by the first two "Bronte's". The raising of Jesus from the grave and placing Him in heaven as Lord over all and a crucial aspect of Christian faith - the release of the Holy Spirit. OT prophecies speak of the horses (metaphor for Spirit or strength) and that the different colors will each go in a specific direction, North, South, East and West. The White horse goes West, the next
color released is RED (Islam) and it goes East (from Jerusalem). The third is Black (Catholicism) which makes its home in the North, and the last one goes South representing universalism or confusion. Zechariah says the white horse follows the Black one but continues West. Remember Paul desiring to go East but is forbidden by the Holy Spirit? History proves that the movement of Christianity spread Westward from Europe and has even made its way around the globe and is metaphorically at the doorstep of the "Eastern Gate" in Jerusalem. (3) Rev 8:5... This event occurs congruous with, the first Trumpet. The “prayers of the saints” are contained within the censor and then filled with fire from the altar and then hurled “into” the earth. There was heard “noises, thunderings (Bronte), lightnings, and an earthquake” and immediately followed by (or congruous with) the first Trumpet. The book will prove that this refers to the rapture. Notice how it's directed “into” the earth and realize this focuses on the “dead believers” (who must rise first per 1Thess.4) while the 2nd trumpet will be focused on the living (depicted as “green things” upon the earth which are burnt or pleasing sacrifices to God). A bonus for you now... the word “earthquake” is always associated with some sort of resurrection event in Revelation and this is the first time it is used! Rev. 4 does NOT contain an earthquake. So, no rapture there. The second coming will be marked by two more earthquakes (a great one and a smaller one)? (4) Rev 11:19... At this time, the seventh trumpet has sounded and the temple of God in heaven is OPENED and the ark of His covenant can be seen inside the temple. There are also lightnings, noises, “Bronte”, an earthquake, and great hail. The book explains in great detail all these little extras and trust me, they all mean something. Notice the addition of yet another earthquake? That's right, another resurrection event... the one Post-tribbers call the rapture. This actually refers to the two witnesses (or the tribulation saints) right before the start of the 1000 year reign and may also include the Jewish resurrection although I believe that should be assigned to number 7. Hail, as you guessed, refers to judgment. Notice once again, the temple was first opened at the start of the Church Age, then closed at the rapture event earlier, then reopened after the tribulation. If you insist the opening of the door to heaven as being the rapture in chapter 4, you have to ask yourself "How could it be both closed and open". NT writings tell us it was opened in the first century at the start of the Church Age and then closed at the rapture. Another pause to recap again... the 3rd and 4th Bronte's involve the trumpets which must be associated with the start and end of the tribulation period. Oooh, there is so much more I would love to tell you here, but it's all in the book and all the overlapping of visions actually do fit perfectly and logically together. (5) Rev 14:2... This represents the time when the 144K Jews are “marked by God” (not the anti-Christ) and they are the only ones on earth who are able to learn or know the “New Song” which is being sung in Heaven. Hmmm, probably the raptured believers (the "Multitude"), wouldn't you agree? Yes, God intervenes in a supernatural way through and with Jesus to mark the 144K Jewish priests who will be protected from harm along with the two witnesses who will also rise up at this time. ALL of these characters involved in the tribulation are ONLY given 3 -1/2 years to do their business! They all come and go in the SAME 3-1/2 year window. The Anti-Christ wants to go after the Jews but since they are protected, he must instead focus on Christians. Well, the ones who reject the mark anyway. (6) Rev 16:18... Along with the 7th bowl great judgments occur. “It is done!” is the cry and there were noises, Bronte, lightnings, and the greatest earthquake ever. The great city was divided into three parts, every island fled away and every mountain laid low. Great hail is cast down as a horrific final judgment. Mystery Babylon is declared defeated. This Bronte focuses on the judgment of false religions and probably more precisely The false Christian church led by the "mother of all harlots". Makes you wonder, who were her offspring? This judgment even elicits great joy and worship in heaven. These last two Bronte's are pretty much universally understood to be tied in with the physical 2nd coming of Jesus. This huge resurrection suggests the Jewish resurrection in connection with the 2nd coming and the promises made to them concerning the 1000 year reign. Christians are NOT part of those promises. Instead, we are promised to be part of the New Jerusalem “which remains in heaven until the 1000 years are finished”. These promises are seen in chapters 2&3 along with warnings about being "spat out" by God and cast into the place of "weeping and gnashing of teeth". There's another phrase which ALWAYS refers to the tribulation period right before the 2nd coming EVERYTIME it is used in the Bible. Also, looking closely at the letters to the churches, one can also notice that some can be granted access to the Millennial reign here on earth. How is that? Well, within the same letters with promises of being in heaven, there are also warnings (or prophecies) of many who will be "left behind" but still given an opportunity to redeem themselves so to speak by not holding onto the doctrines of the Thyatira church. Instead, they will have the opportunity to reign on earth. This means they and everyone else who "overcomes" after the rapture can be reigning with Christ on earth during the 1000 years. (7) Rev 19:6... Says it pretty directly in the text... “Jesus reigns” at this point. The marriage supper takes place, then He returns to earth on a white horse to rule and reign for 1000 years with a rod of iron. The beast and false prophet (and only those two) are cast into the lake of fire while Satan is bound in the pit – to be released near the end of the 1000 years. So, the final Bronte signals the arrival of the Messiah Jesus to reign on earth for 1000 years. I may even suggest that this Bronte encompasses more than just one event. It should be possible that it covers several at the same time? Notice how the first two Bronte's explain two crucial aspects of Christian theology in prophetic content – the resurrection of Jesus (& now ruling in heaven), and the giving of the Holy Spirit to believers. Yes, chapter 1 introduces the idea that Jesus is in heaven but the prophetic parts don't begin until chapter 2. Realize that all other explanations leave out or misinterpret these two crucial aspects of Christian theology. The others focus primarily on the events of the 2nd coming at the end of the tribulation with the one exclusion of the rapture! The rapture will be a "pre-trib" event and it also is NOT a "guaranteed" reward to ALL "believers". Hopefully, this chapter 10 rewrite will encourage and persuade you to get the outline and highly detailed information contained in my book “The Donkey Speaks Again”. I explain the Biblical interpretation of nearly every word and phrase used so that you will have much greater understanding and appreciation of the entire Bible and not just prophecy. The book will help you see Christ Jesus throughout Revelation instead of replacing Him with the Anti-Christ as is being done by your church. Yes, your church leader(s) will have great difficulty with the rebukes contained in these pages, but if not now, when is truth important? As shepherds and masters of houses and flocks, they must heed the Biblical warnings of feeding the sheep and tenants when the "time is approaching". Don't wait till after the rapture to find out the truth and don't rely on your church leaders. My direct email is available upon request May God Bless you in your search for the truth.
